I am a Storyteller.

A photograph is a painting of light. A poem is a sculpting of words to share ideas, emotions or a story. You may think these things are opposites. I'd like to suggest that they are more alike than you think.

I have always been drawn to pictures and the way they can tell a story without using words. They can capture a moment in time and when looked back upon they bring up memories surrounding that moment. With my camera, I am able to zoom in, isolate and re-frame a subject and recast it into something of significance and beauty. I am a sculptor of imagery, just as a poet or storyteller is a sculptor of words.

I would love to tell your story. My heart sings when I can capture a significant moment in time for someone else. Using my camera and my mind's eye to create an image using the available light, setting and subject is one of my greatest joys!
